As a member of the Special Events Team, the Events Specialist will be a main point of contact for the logistics of our giving society events. They will also assist with our third-party community partner events by attending third-party events, ordering promotional items, check presentations, guest experience and event outreach. Reporting to the Special Events Supervisor, this position is an integral part of the Foundation's efforts to reach financial targets and provide critical funding for Moffitt Cancer Center's research initiatives. Responsibilities: • Manage the event logistics for annual events which includes, but are not limited to attendee management, food & beverage orders, audio/visual, presentations/guest speakers, name badges, communications, implementation of event and on-site support. • Minimum of one (1) years relevant experience in a fundraising/philanthropy environment with a concentration of special events, volunteer management, and/or community outreach.
