Event Specialist

Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, the Event Specialist coordinates details for smaller events and programs by working with the client and the service providers to produce events that meet the high standard of the University. Job Competencies • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. • Knowledge and understanding of meeting and event planning principles, requirements, procedures, and available resources including virtual event planning techniques and technology. • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart information to a range of clientele.
