The role of Event Coordinator Assistant at Redstone Federal Credit Union is designed to support and manage a variety of events, seminars, and community outreach initiatives that promote the credit union's brand and member engagement. The position requires hands-on involvement with a variety of tasks such as coordinating with catering and rental vendors, managing bookings in meeting room software, assisting with invoicing verification, and acting as backup support in community events and scholarship activities. This function is ideal for professionals with a background in corporate catering or event planning, preferably with experience in audio/visual technology support. • 4 year bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field preferred • Minimum 2 years corporate catering and/or event planning experience • Knowledge of use and troubleshooting of audio/visual software and hardware • Strong customer service orientation • Effective communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities • Proficient in computers and business software • Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to follow oral and written instructions • Maintain punctuality and professional appearance
