Athletic Event Worker Rate of pay is $17.00 per hour, maximum 28 hours per week. Official transcripts required prior to employment (if applicable). Recommended candidate for hire will be subject to pre-employment screenings. Triton College is an AA/EOE.

Position Title - Athletic Event Worker

Essential Function - Performs routine duties associated with premier customer service and operations/maintenance before, during and after athletic practice, competitions, and/or special events associated with the Triton College athletic facilities.

Qualifications - Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred. Skills: Read diverse situations and quickly problem solve; strong written and verbal communications; ability to understand and apply policies and procedures of the college and athletic facilities; self-motivated and dependable; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities - 1. Act as on-site liaison between renter/athletic team and the Coordinator for Athletic Facilities & Special Events 2. Ensure athletic facility policies and procedures are being maintained by renter/athletic teams during athletic events.

3. Pre/post event setup/breakdown. 4.

Cleaning tasks can include: a. Vacuuming b. Sweeping c. Mopping d. Disinfecting 5. Unlock and lock athletic facilities and equipment before and after events.

6. Setup and/or operate scoreboard and PA system.

7. Help setup/breakdown live stream equipment & operate cameras. 8.

Operate equipment: a. Scoreboards, PA system b. Specific sports field equipment c. Motorized athletic field vehicles d. Computers and printers e. Photo copy machine 9. Other duties as assigned.
