Event Venue Director/ General Manager

We are looking for someone who can generate business, convert inquiries into bookings, coordinate exceptional events, and become the trusted local leader of the venue. The Venue Director will work directly with ownership and take responsibility for the day-to-day growth and operation of The Sunset Terrace. Respond to inquiries and conduct venue tours.Prepare proposals, close bookings, and manage the event calendar.Maintain client communication from the initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.Coordinate vendors, setup, security, cleaning, rentals, and event logistics.Supervise events when necessary and protect the venue and building.Build relationships with planners, companies, hotels, nonprofits, luxury brands, and hospitality partners.Develop a strong preferred-vendor network.Create attractive event packages that are easy for clients to understand and purchase.Generate additional revenue through planning, coordination, referrals, and vendor partnerships.Maintain operating procedures, event checklists, and service standards.Provide regular reports covering leads, tours, bookings, revenue, and upcoming events.
