Summary

As a Venue Support team member at The Carolina Barn, managed by Common Sense Events, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of various events. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Join us in creating memorable moments for our clients!

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup and breakdown to ensure seamless operations.
Being a main point of contact for clients & vendors
Provide excellent guest services by attending to client needs during events.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Set up tables, chairs, decor, signage, furniture and A/V equipment per floor plans
Prepare ceremony and reception areas
Assist with catering and bar setup (if applicable)
Make on-the-spot adjustments based on client or coordinator needs
Ensure cleanliness, functionality, and neat arrangement of all items
Post-event breakdown of furniture, decor, and equipment
Help with venue cleanup and resetting for future use
Report damages and assist with inventory tracking
Manage conflicts or issues that arise during events with professionalism and poise.

Requirements

Previous experience in event management or hospitality is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment under pressure.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Punctual and Reliable.
Ability to lift 50+ Pounds
