Events and Marketing Coordinator

The Events and Marketing Coordinator will help bring our live and virtual events to life, support donor and member outreach, and shape our story across digital platforms. You’ll work closely with our Executive Director of Events, collaborate with the President and CEO, and assist in all aspects of event planning, digital communications, and outreach efforts — from career fairs and scholarship programs to industry awards and board meetings. This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, finds joy in the details, and wants to grow their career in events and marketing. Key Responsibilities • Assist in planning and executing conferences, career fairs, and virtual events • Coordinate logistics with venues, AV teams, and vendors; support on-site event execution • Help identify speakers and topics for conferences in collaboration with committees • Support sponsorship outreach and coordination of sponsor deliverables • Manage vendor coordination and EEO log tracking for career fairs • Maintain the marketing calendar and support content creation for email, web, and social media • Help manage MAB social media accounts (with copy approval) • Support awards programs by coordinating judges, organizing entries, and communicating with winners • Assist with scholarship program management: track applications, communicate with schools, and support outreach • Maintain donor records, assist with fundraising outreach, and provide committee support • Coordinate logistics for board meetings and committee meetings (scheduling, minutes, lodging, etc.) Ideal Candidate • Exceptional writer with strong organizational and communication skills • Collaborative team player who’s proactive, personable, and detail-oriented • Comfortable around executives, vendors, large crowds, and tight deadlines • Creative thinker who can juggle multiple projects and remain calm under pressure • Familiarity with Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and/or GrowthZone is a plus • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms • Bonus: Light photo/video editing skills, basic design ability
