Important Details:We will have 1 Senior Adult location in South Naples, Florida.The coordinator will live Onsite at the community and serve for 12 hours per week. This community is a 55+ ADULTS ONLY community and while the coordinator does NOT have to be in this age group, the preference is that they be in a similar stage of life with a heart to connect and serve this demographic. To learn more about the Senior Adult Services, please review our website: https://apartmentlife.org/senioradults Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan and host 2-3 events each month for the residents in the apartment community with the purpose of caring for and connecting with residents, connecting residents to one another and to services or local businesses in the wider communityProvide a caring touch to residents and staff with the help of other residents and a network of community supportEnhance online reputation by inviting residents to share online about their experience in the community.Develop marketing material for the activities such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media postsManage the event budget processPrepare monthly summariesMeet with staff and program director for planning, equipping, and developmentEngage a support team of volunteers, vendors, and other community partners to maximize impactVisit new residents shortly after they move-in and/or residents who are near the end of their lease to connect with them Required QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older.Be legally eligible to work in the United StatesHave basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management companyPossess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to a form of reliable transportation to complete coordinator duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendorsBe physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 poundsHave the availability to commit weekly hours to perform job responsibilities, mainly in the evenings and weekends when most residents are homeBe able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community Preferred QualificationsPrevious event planning experienceExperience working within a budgetSome relevant experience using social mediaHave a network of support through potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners Additional notes regarding the applicationYou may see a place to provide a Linked-In profile or resume.
