The Events Assistant position is a long-term contract position onsite at an electronics company in San Diego. Hybrid Tuesday - Thursday in office work schedule unless on events or as needed. Events Assistant primary responsibility is, but not limited to: • Supports department managers and planners in pre-planning and onsite coordinating for meetings and events • Organizes shipments, supplies, and tracks equipment inventory in the events office • Creates registration & housing websites and presentation materials • Books hotel, travel, and dinner reservations • Provides event data and financial tracking • Creates event materials including badges and signage • Sources vendors for food and beverage, entertainment, AV, security, promotional items, signage, and transportation as needed • Provides customer service for event registration and offices • Professionally represents the company and its clients in all transactions throughout the course of the assignment, including but not limited to venues, vendors, service staff, hotel employees and the general public. • Willingness to travel, including evenings, weekends and holidays, if needed. Experience: • admin assistant or event: 2 years (Required)
