Events & Conference Manager

Every day, Global Payments makes it possible for millions of people to move money between buyers and sellers using our payments solutions for credit, debit, prepaid and merchant services. Job Responsibilities: • Lead the planning and execution of user conferences and sales kick off events • Identify and assist with negotiations for space contracts and books event space based on event needs • Manage all aspects of trade show logistics and execution; including booking trade shows, choosing exhibit placement and managing all vendors associated booth install and teardown • Mange event budget including recording of costs and manage of vendor payments • Provide exceptional oral and written communication to ensure seamless coordination across all stakeholders • Collaborate with Partner, Solutions and Revenue marketing teams to maximize the impact and value of events • Lead meetings, both within marketing and the business, to collaborate on event needs and prepare overview presentations for executive leadership • Prepare name tags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards, etc. • Open and close out all events as required • Coordinate appointments and scheduling of events on the calendar • Help document activities prior to and during the event for internal and external clients • Maintain event calendars for internal and external audiences • Order and maintain inventory of branded giveaways and literature • Conduct research, makes site visits and/or finds resources to deliver on the event goals • Order audiovisual equipment, power, signage, F&B, etc. At this time, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
