Position Summary The Events Coordinator handles project management for Eden Invitation’s retreats and in-person events, as well as coordinating booking for conferences and other contracted ministry. This person is always asking, “How can we better facilitate encounters with Eden Invitation’s mission in an organized, dynamic way?” Organizational Duties and Responsibilities ‣ Acquire monthly mission partners according to organizational targets and assist with ongoing donor relations ‣ Support all-hands events across the organization ‣ Other duties as assigned Event Planning & Management ‣ Project manage Eden Invitation’s Annual Retreat, in keeping with the vision provided by the President ‣ Work with the President to expand retreat offerings for local and regional community growth ‣ Assist with the planning and logistical execution of additional Eden Invitation-sponsored events, collaborating with the President and Manager for Mission Partner Development as needed ‣ Handle the onsite administration of events, including team coordination, site communication, and issues resolution ‣ Establish and maintain relationships with sites and vendors ‣ Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a variety of event styles
