The position involves planning, implementation, coordination, and execution of events for Undergraduate Admissions, UC Riverside, and UCOP. Coordinate RSVPs, registration, and event setup as needed.Develops and adheres to budgets for assigned events and initiatives, provides projected costs, and recommends adjustments to stay within budget.Identifies potential locations and vendors for future events; works with supervisor to plan needs up to one year in advance (e.g., reserving facilities).Oversees operational support staff; assigns roles and responsibilities for staff scheduled to work events.Oversees inventory and workflow of department publications, including delivery, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, reporting, and recycling.Creates event briefings, surveys, and executive summaries for events and initiatives.QualificationsEducational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience or training.
