Position Summary and Requirements: The Events Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Events Manager and the broader team in executing Midtown Association’s dynamic events programming. Under the direction of the Events Manager, the Events Coordinator play a supporting role in executing all operational and on-site aspects of the Midtown Farmers Market, , and other event programs as assigned including, but not limited to: • Work closely with the Events Manager on market days to ensure all deliverables and tasks are completed in a timely manner • Assist Events Manager in monitoring policies and procedures, on-site safety and compliance and partnering with Events Manager and safety partners, as required • Support all aspects of the Midtown Farmers Market including set-up, tear-down, and ongoing care and inventory of market operations equipment and street closures with the Events Manager and Saturday staff • Lead events programming tasks including - booking musicians, booking Second Saturday demonstrations, sponsor activities, and any future programming needs, in collaboration with and as determined by Events Manager and Associate Director, Events. • Support vendor billing and payments in line with organization’s financial compliance policies - tasks include sending vendor invoices, generating outstanding balance reports, and following up on non-payment via email and phone.
