Reporting to the Director of Events at Hendricks Chapel, the Events Coordinator supports the mission, vision, and values of Hendricks Chapel through scheduling, invoicing, and staffing of programs and services sponsored or hosted by Hendricks Chapel. The Events Coordinator assists with supervision and training of student hospitality staff (25 students), provides leadership for summer wedding programs, and serves as a key contributor for Hendricks Chapel as the spiritual heart of Syracuse University. Skills and Knowledge • Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence at a university welcoming to all. • Assist in the supervision of Student Hospitality Staff (approximately 25 students). This responsibility includes facilitating the hiring, onboarding, and shift scheduling of students, supervision of student staff to ensure quality control at all events sponsored or hosted by Hendricks Chapel, providing ongoing training for students and assisting with review and evaluation.
