Location: Greater Charlotte Area

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

1 weekend shift a monthTravel: Mainly Mecklenburg County

The Community Events Liaison is responsible for overall community-based event management, coordination, and implementation. The Liaison provides support for planning and implementation of screenings, health fairs, mobile health cruiser initiatives, and other outreach efforts that align with system-wide and market-level strategies. The Community Events Liaison recommends and organizes involvement in community outreach events that align with community benefit goals, market growth strategies, and service line promotions.

What We're Looking For

Education:2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in community outreach and event planning and management, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Event planning certifications, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outgoing personality with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people at all levels of authority, including a broad range of constituencies, and work independently. Flexible and adaptable style; a team player who can positively impact both strategic and tactical community initiatives. Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be innovative and have excellent problem solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Frequent travel is required. Must be available and flexible to work nights and weekends as necessary.
