Position Objective: To manage the planning and execution of major events, including COK’s annual DC VegFest and spring fundraising gala, as well as additional vegan events providing mission-driven financial support for the organization throughout the year Build event management template for the annual Spring Gala in advance of planning the 2020 inaugural event. Work closely with Director of Development to organize other fundraising events, including restaurant benefits, throughout the year to provide mission- driven financial support. Implement effective event management platform to streamline major event planning processes and communications. Assist other departments as needed with various event-related tasks or projects.
