Events Manager

Events Manager Public Policy Nonprofit San Francisco or Sacramento (Hybrid) Salary: $82,000 to $103,000 per year, based on experience. The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $103,000 per year, based on experience. Responsibilities: • Manage a large portfolio of virtual and in-person events relating to public policy issues, including conferences, presentations, panels, and sponsored series • Ensure the successful design and execution of approximately 3 events per month • Develop ideas for new events and content, including identifying speakers that can provide a diverse and balanced perspective • Engage attendees, including elected officials • Direct and oversee all aspects of event planning • Create strategies and oversee logistics relating to the planning and execution of all events • Develop and monitor event and department budgets • Manage and mentor one direct report • Travel, as needed within California Qualifications: • Approximately 5+ years of relevant events experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with strict timelines • Workfront and Salesforce experience a plus • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills • Interest and/or experience in policy a plus Equal opportunity employer.
