Events Manager

The Event Manager is responsible for planning university events, managing all student event coordinators, monitoring event coordination workloads, and leading and participating in a wide array of University Event team projects. This position ensures smooth production and management of events hosted at and by Seattle University to further the university's educational mission, strategic and business plans. The Event Manager works with event organizers to project manage all aspects of event coordination including but not limited to event briefs, registration, marketing and communications, audience development and management, catering, venue layout, audiovisual requirements, parking and public safety requests, and facility requirements. The Event Manager will demonstrate excellent customer service qualities, be mission-centered, have an open, creative problem-solving approach, strong relationship-building and teaching skills, and a strong understanding of and experience working with and supporting diverse and inclusive teams. , • Experience working in a collegiate event environment.
