Events Manager

Reporting to the Senior Development Officer, the Event Manager is responsible for driving revenue and elevating the Museum’s profile through the seamless planning and execution of facility rentals, signature fundraising events, and institutional events. The Event Manager oversees the full lifecycle of events on Museum property from scheduling and logistics to vendor management and execution. The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by any team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • 5-7 years of progressive experience required in event management, hospitality, rentals, or fundraising events, preferably in a nonprofit environment. • Demonstrated success to independently manage complex event logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships.
