Events & Marketing Coordinator

The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is a must. The Events & Marketing Coordinator's primary responsibility is to increase event and wedding bookings at the Valcour Inn & Boathouse. The successful candidate will utilize social media and other marketing tools to increase leads, respond to inquiries, give tours of the property, execute event contracts and coordinate successful events. The Coordinator will be the primary point of contact between the Valcour/CAS team and event clients. Required Qualifications: • Social media content creation and event planning experience • Experience with Canva • Highly-organized with a positive demeanor and passion for events • Excellent computer skills and ability to work within online systems • Ability to work within a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends • Minimum education requirement - high school diploma or equivalent • Reasonable transportation
