Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California (BBBSCC) is a nationally recognized, award-winning agency dedicated to igniting the potential in young people by creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships. Reporting to the Vice President & COO, the Events & Media Manager is primarily responsible for planning and executing events and activities to raise financial support and public awareness of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California, including all social media. In the spirit of cooperation and teamwork, it is expected that all employees will do whatever is necessary to further the mission and work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California: • Develops and implements program-specific annual fund development activities, including Bowl for Kids' Sake, 300 Club Dinner, Golf tournament, Women’s 300 Club, monthly events, as well as press conferences and community events that the CEO/COO might attend, with a particular emphasis on their continued growth and development. • Experience with or the ability to learn and gain proficiency with fund development software. • Skill and comfort in communicating orally and in writing with groups of all sizes, in person as well as through the electronic media.
