About the Location:

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis rises prominently against the skyline and is connected by Skyway to key destinations in sports, business, and entertainment. The hotel features Mediterranean-inspired cuisine crafted by an acclaimed chef and a wellness level offering indoor and outdoor pools, along with a Spa focused on natural well-being.

Essential Job Functions of the Events Planning Manager:

Maintain engagement and motivation among long-serving employees.Establish and support clear communication with banquet and stewarding teams. Maintain presence during operations, provide support, recognize achievements, build positive relationships, and respond to questions, concerns, and special requests from guests, clients, and group contacts.Coordinate function setups for both on-site and off-site events according to banquet event orders. Review changes with Catering Managers prior to event execution. Communicate essential information to group representatives, Catering and Conference Services Managers, Banquet team, and Stewarding team to ensure seamless event flow.Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all food offerings in partnership with the culinary team. Provide guests with wine and spirits expertise in a refined and attentive environment.Participate in operational meetings to strengthen collaboration between departments.Partner with Finance to understand and apply labor standards. Manage labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash-flow management. Provide clear explanations for variances and adjust as needed.Inspect banquet and stewarding facilities for equipment or structural issues, recommending improvements and ensuring prompt follow-up on outstanding work orders to protect guest satisfaction.Provide leadership, support, and assistance in additional departments or outlets as needed.Expected Qualifications and Capabilities:

Academic achievement or equivalent professional experience.Two to five years of experience in a comparable role within Four Seasons or another luxury hospitality organization.Legal authorization to work in the United States.What to Expect:
