Cypress HCM is looking for an Events Program Manager to join their Global Travel & Expense team. This role is responsible for leading the sourcing and operational execution of corporate meetings and events while collaborating with various departments to enhance the company's global Meetings & Events program. Responsibilities Lead sourcing and end-to-end operational execution for small- and medium-sized meetings, offsites, executive meetings, trainings, customer engagements, and internal business eventsManage venue sourcing, contract negotiations, room blocks, group air, and ground transportationPartner with business stakeholders to understand event objectives and recommend scalable, cost-effective event solutionsHelp build and operationalize Snowflake's global Meetings & Events strategy, including governance, intake processes, planning standards, service models, and operational best practicesDevelop and manage preferred supplier relationshipsLead sourcing events and RFPs while negotiating favorable commercial terms and driving measurable cost savingsPartner closely with the Global Travel team to coordinate attendee air travel and deliver a seamless end-to-end experienceSupport the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of meetings and event technology, including sourcing platforms, venue booking tools, registration systems, reporting solutions, payment capabilities, and future AI-enabled workflowsBuild dashboards, reporting, and KPIs that provide visibility into event spend, supplier performance, savings, attendee experience, policy compliance, and program healthIdentify opportunities to simplify processes, improve automation, and enhance the user experience through technology and AIDevelop playbooks, documentation, and standardized processes that enable scalable event planning across the organizationEnsure compliance with company policies, risk management requirements, and financial controls throughout the event lifecycleStay informed on industry trends, supplier innovations, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the Meetings & Events programSupport additional strategic Travel & Expense initiatives and cross-functional projects as the program evolves Skills Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, Supply Chain, or related field5+ years of corporate meetings and events, travel management, hospitality, procurement, or strategic sourcing experienceStrong experience negotiating hotel, venue, and supplier contractsExperience managing group travel and complex meeting logisticsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent prioritiesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience building reporting, dashboards, and program metricsExperience with meetings and event technology platforms such as Cvent, Groupize, HRS, Navan, or similar preferredExperience leveraging automation or AI to improve business processes is a plusCMP, CMM, or similar certifications are a plus Company Overview
