The Events & Sales Manager is responsible for supporting clients by coordinating and executing events, managing rental space opportunities, and driving revenue through event rentals and sales. Key Responsibilities: • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all expenses align with financial goals • Serve as the primary point of contact for event space rentals and logistics • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process • Work in coordination with the Operations team to support rental logistics, setup, and breakdown • Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment • Advertise rental space opportunities and communicate with potential clients • Build relationships with vendors to ensure smooth execution of events, in collaboration with the Director of Site Operations • Maintain a calendar of all events, including external rentals and internal special events • Trace, measure, and report sales and sponsorship performance regularly. Administrative & Contractual Oversight: • Oversee all Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and agreements for rentals regarding facility use • Ensure clear communication of rental policies and processes • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop strategies to promote events and increase attendance through various channels • Tracking rental revenue and expenditures from spending for sales purposes • Metric tracking of results to include, but not limited to: marketing efforts, referrals, and returning customers Characteristics/Skills/Qualifications: • Proven experience of at least 2 years in events management or a related field is preferred, preferably in a non-profit or community-focused organization • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
