Events & Sales Specialist

The Events & Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting clients by coordinating and executing events, managing rental space opportunities, and driving revenue through event rentals and sales. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, problem-solving and crisis management skills, leadership, and a knack for upselling a desired guest experience. Key Responsibilities: • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all expenses align with financial goals • Serve as the primary point of contact for event space rentals and logistics • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process • Work in coordination with the Operations team to support rental logistics, setup, and breakdown • Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment • Advertise rental space opportunities and communicate with potential clients • Build relationships with vendors to ensure smooth execution of events, in collaboration with the Director of Site Operations. Administrative & Contractual Oversight: • Oversee all Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and agreements for rentals regarding facility use • Ensure clear communication of rental policies and processes • Work with the Marketing & Development Coordinator to develop strategies to promote events and increase attendance through various channels • Tracking rental revenue and expenditures from spending for sales purposes • Metric tracking of results to include, but not limited to: marketing efforts, referrals, and returning customers
