The coordinator will be responsible for managing event timelines, negotiating venue and vendor contracts, and ensuring the smooth execution of events. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include: • Coordinating all fundraising cultivation and special events • Building and owning event project management timelines • Negotiating venue and vendor contracts • Selecting food and beverage options • Ensuring well-run events and customer delight • Managing event websites including ticketing and registration • Managing virtual auction tracking and recording auction items and ensuring the bidding process works smoothly Additionally, the candidate will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility in their work schedule to accommodate weekdays, weekends, evenings, and occasional late nights as necessary. The following are some of the required skills and qualifications for this role: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field • 3-5 years of experience in large and small event management, preferably with an organization similar to ours • Experience supervising volunteers and understanding of our organization's mission, vision, and values • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM databases, and event software • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Superior customer service skills • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain discretion with confidential information Benefits
