UCSD Layoff from Career Appointment: Apply by 8/21/25 for consideration with preference for rehire. Skill in coordinating all logistical aspects of large and small scale events for the UC San Diego community, including knowledge of budget development principles and skills as they apply to events. Knowledge of resources on campus and in the community; includes campus fire officials and their roles in conjunction with special events (Fire Marshal, Police, Special Events Parking, etc.) • Knowledge, skills, and experience in the operation of a student union or multi-purpose facility, that include meeting, event, and student organization facilities. It is the responsibility of the Mandated Reporter to ensure that they obtain proper training in order to fulfill their reporting responsibilities as required by the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and University policy, and to complete and submit the required reports to the UC San Diego Police Department without delay.
