Fair & Festival Director

The Director will be primarily responsible for planning the Salem Art Fair & Festival and, in partnership with the Salem Multicultural Institute, the World Beat Festival. Fair and Festival Planning and Management • Organize, market, and implement the Salem Art Fair & Festival and, in partnership with the Salem Multicultural Institute, the World Beat Festival • Engage with sponsors to ensure the events are fully funded. • Coordinate assignments for all event vendors, including booth layout and all other functions and activities related to the effective operation of the events. Organize Smaller Events Throughout the Year • In addition to planning the two major events (i.e., Art Fair and World Beat), work to organize and implement smaller recruitment and fundraising events such as the Summer Arts Celebration and Fundraiser, the Holiday Night Market Fundraiser, Volunteer Appreciation Night, Monthly Gallery Opening, Spring Gala, and the annual Public Meet and Greet. Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits totaling $6,026 annually.
