Our programs are uniquely structured to allow mothers to heal and recover without being separated from their children, creating a generational impact.In the last several years, Freedom House has experienced record program growth and donor engagement, and we are now seeking mission-driven professionals to join our Development Team to help fund and expand this transformative work.Position OverviewThe Event Planner is a part-time position responsible for planning and executing donor-focused and community-building events that increase awareness, deepen relationships, and grow financial support for Freedom House.This role requires both creativity and ministry focus—ensuring every event reflects the Christ-centered heart of the organization and connects attendees to the mission in a meaningful way.Key ResponsibilitiesMission-Focused Event PlanningPlan, execute, and grow signature events, including the Annual Pig Picking and Charity Golf TournamentNew Event Creation & Donor EngagementCreate new events annually to grow brand awareness, donor culture, and community engagementOrganize small donor-related dinners annually to foster personal connection and recurring supportVolunteer & Church PartnershipEngage and coordinate volunteers, donors, and church groups to create a warm, ministry-centered atmosphereTransform event participants into long-term mission partnersLogistics & ReportingManage event logistics, vendor relations, budgets, and timelinesProvide post-event reports including financial results and relational impact metricsSkills & CompetenciesSkilled in event planning and donor-focused experiencesStrong organizational, relational, and hospitality skillsCreative, mission-driven, and passionate about connecting people to Kingdom impactAbility to grow event revenue and participation while keeping ministry at the centerComfortable engaging donors, volunteers, and community leadersWhy Join Freedom House?Joining Freedom House means more than a job—it’s a calling.
