Role Description - Freelance Event Manager - San Francisco

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site point of contact for events (dinners, roundtables, conferences).Manage event setup and breakdown in coordination with venue staff.Pick up printing and event materials on the day of the event.Ensure branding, signage, name badges, and materials are properly displayed.Greet, register, and support senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients.Keep the internal Blend team updated during the event.Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally.Provide event recap notes and photos to the internal team.

Requirements

Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or client-facing roles.Professional demeanor and confidence in working with senior executives.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to problem-solve in real time.Reliable, punctual, and flexible with evening events (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights).
