Intern, Event Logistics & Data Support

American Heart Association Maumee, Ohio

Individuals will acquire practical experience and receive hands-on training in various subject areas, to include volunteer recruitment/management, community event planning and management, public health research, community partner networking/connection, and program development/implementation. Time Commitment: 20-25 hours per week Internship Duration: 9/11/2023 through 12/8/2023 Hybrid position (includes some time at home and some at events) Intern must be based in the Toledo, OH area Salary: $23 per hour Internship Outcomes: Individuals participating in the internship program are provided with an opportunity to: Gain important and practical job skills to be successful in a non-profit environment Opportunity to explore a career-path with a reputable voluntary health/service organization Gain experience in the professional world while learning about board management Complete an internship that enriches your academic and professional resume as well as enriching your personal life by making a difference in the lives of others Responsibilities Assist with the logistics and timeline management for multiple community events including vendor scheduling, inventory and ordering of decorations/signage, supply ordering/tracking, and more.
