Design Mode is a Phoenix-based event design and production company specializing in corporate events, specialty rentals, custom fabrication, floral design, and immersive event experiences nationwide.

We're looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Event Designer & Sales Coordinator to join our growing team!

This is a hybrid creative and administrative position, perfect for someone who loves design but also enjoys organization, problem-solving, and helping bring big ideas to life.

You'll work alongside our design and sales team, assisting with everything from developing event concepts and creating presentations to preparing proposals, coordinating rental selections, and supporting the day-to-day sales process.

We're looking for someone who is just as comfortable creating a beautiful mood board as they are managing the details behind the scenes.

What You'll Do

Event Design & Creative Support

Assist in developing creative concepts, mood boards, and design presentations for corporate events and special occasions.
Help select furniture, décor, florals, linens, and other design elements from our rental inventory.
Create polished client presentations using Canva and other design tools.
Research creative inspiration, design trends, materials, and unique event elements.
Collaborate with our design and production teams to bring event concepts to life.
Assist with on-site event styling and installation as needed.

Sales & Administrative Support

Assist the sales and design team with preparing client proposals, quotes, and rental selections.
Enter and maintain event details, rental items, and project information in our event management software.
Help coordinate client requests, proposal revisions, and project updates.
Communicate with vendors and internal team members to gather pricing, availability, and project details.
Maintain organized project files, presentations, and client documentation.
Provide general administrative support to keep the sales and design process running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

A strong creative eye and genuine passion for event design, interiors, styling, or visual presentation.
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Canva and comfort learning new software and technology.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
Someone who takes initiative, solves problems, and follows through.
Previous experience in event design, event coordination, interior design, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with event rental software or CRM systems is a plus, but not required.

Additional Requirements

Must be available to work full-time, on-site at our Phoenix location.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
Willingness to travel for out-of-state events when needed.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with event styling and setup.
