Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of catering events, from corporate functions to private celebrations. Lead and mentor a team of catering event coordinators, providing guidance and support. Manage client consultations, contract negotiations, and budget adherence for all assigned events. Oversee on-site event setup, staffing, service delivery, and breakdown, ensuring flawless execution. Liaise with venue managers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless event logistics. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events, ensuring client satisfaction. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new venues, and local culinary talent. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement. Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring readiness for all events. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, catering management, or a closely related field. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail. Strong culinary knowledge and an understanding of food presentation and service styles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules. A portfolio showcasing successful event executions is a strong asset.
