About Us - We are a growing event planning business dedicated to creating seamless, memorable experiences for clients on their special occasions. As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual to join us as an independent contractor who can take on lead coordinator roles and help drive new business.

Role Overview - This is a flexible, commission-based contractor position designed for someone who thrives in both event coordination and business development. You’ll serve as a lead coordinator for select weddings and events, while also helping grow our client base through networking, outreach, and strategic input.

Responsibilities

Act as lead coordinator for assigned weddings, ensuring smooth execution of the event.
Generate new bookings through networking events, social media, and personal outreach.
Collaborate with the owner on business decisions, growth strategies, and client experience improvements.
Represent the company at industry events and build relationships with vendors and venues to create referral partnerships.
Maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.

Compensation Structure

Commission: Earn a percentage of revenue from any bookings you secure
Associate Event Fee: Retainer + Commission
More Bookings = More commission
Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses for hitting booking milestones, attending networking events, etc.
Additional Perks: Networking event fees covered, flexible schedule, and visibility as a lead coordinator.

Ideal Candidate

Experienced in events, wedding planning, or hospitality is required.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communicator and natural relationship-builder.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow the business.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating as a trusted partner.
Must be available to take on weekend and some weekday events.
Dedicated to growing in this role.
Has experience managing and creating some social media content

Contract Details

Independent contractor role (not an employee position).
Flexible hours; workload varies depending on bookings and events.
Must be available for weddings and client meetings as scheduled.

The interview process will consist of three stages: 2 interviews and an activity. This listing will be open until the ideal candidate is found.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
