Lead Event Coordinator - Part-time

LEAL VINEYARDS Hollister, California

pThe Léal hospitality group is looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and any special requests and consistently provide exceptional customer service/li liCoordinate event details and timelines, ensure everyone is in the right location per the event schedule, and ensure events run on time/li liCoordinate and attend culinary tastings, final walkthroughs, and rehearsals/li liEnsure banquet staff is adequately prepared for event, coordinate staffing requirements and staff briefings/li liOversee and direct banquet serving and banquet set-up staff to ensure all tasks are assigned and executed/li liAssist with setup and tear down of decorations as needed/li liProduce details for events (timelines, BEO, layouts)/li liCommunicate with the lead catering staff regarding any special needs/li liCoordinate event rehearsals – include instruction for ushers, family seating, and wedding party processional and recessional/li liCoordinate with the Luxe design team, photographer, videographer, DJ, minister and any additional outside vendors upon arrival to review the event timeline/li liMaintain high standards for safety and cleanliness in all areas of the property/li liMaintain proper dining experience, deliver items, fulfill customer needs, remove courses, replenish items and refill glasses as needed/li liAssist the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business leads./li liSupport the creation and coordination of proposals, presentations, and contracts./li liCommunicate with potential clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating negotiations./li liHelp manage contracts, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations./li liTrack sales pipeline progress and update Pipedrive CRM system with accurate lead information./li liCommunicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guests to the General Manager and Director of Wedding amp; Event Sales or Director of Hospitality./li liPerform all other duties as assigned by management/li /ulh4Qualifications/h4brpstrongRequired Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Competences:/strong/p ul liBachelor’s Degree (or in progress) preferred – Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Event or Meeting Planning – or equivalent experience in the hospitality industry/li liCustomer service-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding client expectations/li liMust possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels/li liMaintain a professional and polished appearance in adherence with the company dress code/li liMust have advanced computer skills; including working with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel), Aisle Planner, Google Documents, etc./li liExcellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills./li liProblem-solving skills and deductive reasoning abilities/li liSuperior verbal communication and written skills required/li liMust possess and maintain valid California Food Handler Certificate/li liMust possess and maintain a current ABC approved California Responsible Beverage Serving Certification/li liMust possess and maintain current California Driver License with a satisfactory driving record/li liWill be required to travel to other locations within the portfolio on a frequent basis including starting your shift at different properties. pFor immediate consideration, please submit your resume in PDF format./p div h4Job Details/h4 divstrongJob Location/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Leal Vineyards - Hollister, CA/div divstrongPosition Type/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Part Time/div divstrongSalary Range/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;$26.00 - $26.00 Hourly/div /div h4Description/h4pemInspired and framed by the natural beauty of the central coast region of California, the Léal hospitality group is a one-of-a-kind collection of carefully curated properties located in Morgan Hill and Hollister. pThe Léal hospitality group is looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
