Overview
Join our team as a Lead Event Coordinator, where you'll be at the forefront of in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You'll be responsible for effectively engaging consumers, showcasing products, and executing events with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and secure workspace in the backroom.Act as the communication liaison with store management in the absence of the Supervisor.Support fellow Event Coordinators by providing necessary materials and knowledge.Demonstrate products effectively, conveying their features and benefits to consumers.Prepare and serve food samples in compliance with food safety standards.Ensure a sterile and safe work environment using appropriate cleaning procedures.Set up and prepare Event Tables for successful execution of demonstrations.Complete all assigned tasks diligently and assist with client visits and audits.Build rapport with store staff to achieve company and client goals.Submit expense reports and online requirements promptly after each event.Document successful setups through digital photography.This part-time role generally does not exceed 25 hours per week, but hours may vary based on business needs.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency; related experience or training preferred.Proficient with personal computers and mobile devices.Holding a Food Safety Professional Certification and/or local food handler's permit as required.Physical Demands
The role requires standing, walking, using hands for handling products, and reaching overhead. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be comfortable with cooking raw items and using various kitchen appliances.
Working Conditions
This position is set in a retail store environment with limited travel.
