CaliSMASH — El Segundo, CA | Part-TIme

CaliSMASH is a 40,000 sq ft indoor pickleball facility with a full sports bar and restaurant, hosting events of all sizes — from intimate gatherings to $40,000 private buyouts. We're looking for a Lead Event Host to be the face of our events team: the person who makes sure every party, corporate outing, and private rental runs smoothly from setup to last call.

What You'll Do

• Own the event from start to finish — you're the go-to person for the client and the team on the day.

• Confirm bookings, coordinate setup, and get spaces guest-ready before doors open.

• Manage the guest experience: greet clients, handle requests, and resolve issues on the spot.

• Coordinate with front desk, kitchen, bar, and coaching staff to keep everything on schedule.

• Call last call, wrap up the event, and leave the space spotless.

• Submit a quick recap after each event so we can keep improving.

What We're Looking For

• Someone comfortable being “in charge” — confident making decisions and coordinating a team in the moment.

• Strong communication skills; you're the calm, organized point of contact for clients and staff alike.

• Hospitality, events, or restaurant experience preferred.

• Ability to stay on your feet and stay engaged for the full event.

• Weekend and evening availability is a requirement.
