This contract position allows you to tailor your schedule and offers training, making it the perfect opportunity for aspiring wedding planners. Conduct a final details call with clients 4-6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations.Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day prior to the wedding, ensuring all participants are confident in timing, processional flow, and key cues.Act as the primary advocate for the couple on-site, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused presence to support them through any challenges.Oversee the ceremony and reception setup to align with the event design and ensure adherence to our day-of execution plan.Manage wedding day execution from the arrival of vendors to the final breakdown of the event.Welcome and direct vendors, serving as the main point of contact throughout the day.Clearly communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan.Assist in the placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor elements.Support the wedding party and family members with guidance, timing cues, and other day-of needs.Ensure that all end-of-event items (gifts, guest books, personal décor, etc.) Weekend availability is essential.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a wedding or event planner.Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must.Reliable transportation is required.Ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
