Lead Wedding Coordinator

Join Leigh & Co. Events, a dynamic and rapidly growing wedding planning company, as we seek talented Lead Wedding Coordinators to elevate our clients' special days. As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you'll enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own schedule, all while engaging in fulfilling work that brings joy to couples on their wedding day. This role is a contract position with compensation of $400 for 10-12 hours of work per project, perfect for those looking to contribute to the 2026 wedding season and beyond.

In this exciting position, you'll offer comprehensive wedding planning services, working primarily onsite with our client experience managers and assistant coordinators. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting a final details call with clients 4-6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations.Leading the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are confident in their roles.Acting as the primary advocate for the couple onsite, maintaining a calm, solutions-focused presence throughout the day.Overseeing the setup of the ceremony and reception in alignment with our execution playbook.Managing the entire wedding day execution from initial vendor arrival to final breakdown.Greeting and directing vendors, ensuring clear communication of setup instructions.Coordinating the placement of personal and decorative items, including escort cards, menus, and favors.Providing guidance and timing cues to the wedding party and family members.Ensuring all end-of-event items are safely packed and accounted for.Proactively managing and resolving any issues or last-minute changes to guarantee a seamless guest experience.To succeed in this role, you must:
