Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and rapidly expanding wedding planning company operating across the United States. This is a unique contract role that allows you to set your own schedule, with training provided. As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive wedding planning services for couples, primarily onsite. Conducting a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations.Leading and facilitating the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring participants are confident in the timing and key cues.Acting as the couple's primary advocate onsite, maintaining a calm and solution-focused demeanor throughout any challenges that may arise.Overseeing the setup of the ceremony and reception in alignment with the event design and our day-of execution playbook.Managing the entire wedding day execution, from the arrival of the first vendor to the final breakdown of the event.Greeting, directing, and serving as the main point of contact for all vendors.Clearly communicating setup instructions to vendors to ensure everything aligns with the event plan.Coordinating placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and decor elements.Supporting the wedding party and family members with guidance, timing cues, and any day-of needs.Ensuring all end-of-event items (gifts, guest books, personal decor, etc.) Willingness to work weekends is essential.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a wedding planner or event planner.Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail are a must.Reliable transportation is necessary.Ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
