Join Leigh & Co. Events, a rapidly expanding wedding planning company serving clients all across the United States! We are on the lookout for enthusiastic planners to take on the Lead Wedding Planner role. This is a contract position, allowing you the flexibility to set your own schedule. Training is provided, and you will earn $350 for 10-12 hours of work on each project. We're excited to welcome new team members for the 2026 wedding season and beyond!
As a Lead Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch planning services to couples, primarily on-site. You will collaborate with our Client Experience Managers during the planning phase and oversee Assistant Coordinators during the event execution. Your duties will include:
Conducting a final details call with clients about 6 weeks prior to weddings to finalize logistics, timelines, and expectations.Leading and facilitating the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants understand timing, processional flow, and key cues.Serving as the primary advocate for the couple on the wedding day by maintaining a calm, solutions-focused demeanor and supporting them through any challenges.Overseeing ceremony and reception setup to align with the event design and our day-of execution playbook.Managing the entire wedding day execution from the arrival of the first vendor to the final breakdown in the evening.Greeting and directing vendors, acting as the main point of contact.Clearly communicating setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan.Coordinating and assisting with the placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and decor elements.Supporting the wedding party and family members with any day-of needs, including guidance and timing cues.Ensuring all end-of-event items (gifts, guest books, personal decor, etc.) are correctly packed and accounted for.Proactively managing and resolving any issues or last-minute changes to provide a smooth guest experience.Requirements:
Weekend availability is essential.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a wedding planner or event planner.Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must.Reliable transportation is required.Ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
