Lead Wedding Planner

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and rapidly expanding wedding planning company operating nationwide. We are currently seeking enthusiastic planners to join our team as Lead Wedding Planners, starting for the upcoming 2026 season and beyond! This is an exciting contract role that allows flexibility in your schedule, making it perfect for those interested in the wedding planning industry.

You will serve as the primary wedding planner, providing top-notch planning services to couples, primarily at their wedding venues. You will collaborate closely with our client experience managers during the planning stages and with assistant coordinators onsite to ensure every detail is meticulously executed.

Conduct a final details call with clients approximately six weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.Lead and oversee the ceremony rehearsal on the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are confident and prepared.Act as the primary advocate for the couple on their special day, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused demeanor while supporting them through any challenges that may arise.Manage and oversee ceremony and reception setups according to the event design and our day-of execution guidelines.Handle full wedding day execution, starting from the arrival of vendors to the final breakdown at the end of the evening.Welcome, direct, and serve as the main point of contact for all vendors and attendees.Clearly communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan.Coordinate and assist with the placement of personal and event details such as escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor elements.Provide guidance and support to the wedding party and family members throughout the day.Ensure all end-of-event items (gifts, guest book, personal décor, etc.) are properly packed and accounted for.Proactively manage and resolve any last-minute issues to ensure a smooth guest experience.Requirements:

Ability to work weekends is essential.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a wedding or event planner.Strong communication skills with a keen attention to detail.Reliable transportation is a must.Able to carry and lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
