In this role, you will oversee the entire wedding planning process, ensuring each celebration is flawlessly executed and exceeds client expectations. As the lead coordinator, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with vendors, and implement innovative marketing strategies to showcase our exceptional wedding services. Duties Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of weddings, from initial consultation through post-event follow-up Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and identify upselling opportunities to enhance client packages Develop comprehensive event timelines, floor plans, and vendor schedules to ensure seamless coordination Oversee vendor relationships including catering, entertainment, floral design, photography, and transportation Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track client interactions, preferences, and project milestones Implement targeted event marketing campaigns to attract new clients and promote our wedding services Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients, addressing concerns promptly, and customizing experiences to meet individual needs Supervise a team of junior planners and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence in guest services and event management Conduct site visits, oversee setup and breakdown processes, and ensure all aspects of the event adhere to safety standards and quality expectations Engage in fundraising activities or community events that highlight our brand's presence within the hospitality industry Experience Proven experience in wedding or event planning within the hospitality industry or related fields Demonstrated success managing large-scale events with multiple stakeholders involved Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software tools Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and clients to maximize value and satisfaction Experience managing event budgets effectively while identifying opportunities for upselling additional services Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines Outstanding communication skills for client consultations, team leadership, and vendor negotiations Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking client data and project progress Knowledge of catering operations and guest services to enhance overall event experience Background in fundraising or community engagement initiatives is a plus Join us as a Lead Wedding Planner if you're passionate about creating extraordinary celebrations!
