Currently, Leigh & Co Events is seeking Lead Wedding Planners to join their team for the upcoming 2026 wedding season and beyond. This contract position offers a flexible schedule, ideal for individuals passionate about wedding planning who desire adaptable working hours. The role places the Lead Wedding Planner at the forefront of managing and executing weddings at various venues. These planners will work closely with clients to translate their visions into reality, collaborating extensively with client experience managers during the pre-wedding stages to finalize plans and coordinating with assistant coordinators on the wedding day to ensure flawless execution.
The responsibilities of the Lead Wedding Planner include conducting final detail calls with couples about six weeks before their wedding date to confirm all logistics, timelines, and expectations. Leading the ceremony rehearsal to ensure all participants are confident and prepared is another key duty. On the wedding day, the planner acts as the primary advocate for the couple, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented approach to support them through any challenges or last-minute adjustments.
