The Live Event Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our on-air newscasts. This includes directing and coordinating assigned newscasts and productions, creating graphics daily, and determining transitions for cameras, audio, and graphics. Key Responsibilities: • Direct and TD assigned newscasts and productions • Create graphics daily for seamless integration into broadcasts • Coordinate transitions for cameras, audio, and graphics • Maintain the production studio and control room • Perform additional tasks as assigned, including contributing to the website Requirements: • Experience in directing and TDing newscasts • Knowledge of production standards and equipment • Ability to clearly direct crew under pressure • Typing and good spelling skills essential • Ability to read and write; college degree preferred • Must be able to lift and position 40-pound lighting instruments
