Maintenance and Event Operations - A

About the role
This position supports the Athletics department at Ithaca College. You will help manage events, maintain equipment, and ensure operations run smoothly during home contests. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term.

What you'll do

Set up and break down athletic event spaces, including team areas, concession stands, and merchandise stations.
Operate scoreboards, game clocks, and public address systems for home games.
Manage ticket sales and assist with ushering duties.
Perform sideline tasks such as serving on the football chain crew, acting as a ball retriever, or floor sweeping.
Follow established safety protocols, cleaning routines, and operating procedures.

What you'll need

Ability to assist with various event management functions.
Attention to detail regarding equipment maintenance and safety standards.
Willingness to learn and execute specific game-day operations.
Students from majors including Kinesiology, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or Public Health are encouraged to apply.
