Job Description: The Marketing Event and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing promotional events in-store and within the community to reinforce the neighborhood brand and managing sponsorship and donation requests. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field is not required but is preferred • Proven marketing experience • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines • Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with partners and local pet parents • Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills • Intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to learn • Knowledge of the retail industry, especially the pet specialty industry, is a plus Our Company: Based in Louisville, Ky., the company has 50 brick-and-mortar stores plus a thriving eCommerce business.
