In this hands-on role, you will create unique event concepts, secure partners and sponsors, coordinate logistics, and ensure seamless execution from start to finish. You’ll gain valuable experience in event management, promotions, and hospitality, while also supporting the private event coordinator.

Department Overview
The Events & Booking Department at The Rigby is responsible for curating engaging, community-driven experiences. From live music and themed events to fundraisers and local gatherings, this team ensures The Rigby remains a dynamic destination.
The department manages event ideation, logistics, partnerships, and execution while collaborating with internal teams and external organizations. By building sponsor relationships and community partnerships, the team expands outreach and supports charitable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
Brainstorm and develop creative event concepts aligned with The Rigby’s brand
Plan logistics including materials, staffing, and scheduling
Coordinate event setup, execution, and breakdown
Ensure event details are documented and communicated to staff
Oversee events to ensure smooth operations
Sponsorship & Partnerships
Research and secure sponsors and community partners
Build relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and artists
Assist in negotiating sponsorships and collaborations
Marketing & Promotion
Support marketing strategies for upcoming events
Assist with social media promotion, flyers, and outreach
Engage with local influencers, media, and community groups
Post-Event Evaluation
Track attendance, results, and key takeaways
Collect feedback from staff and attendees
Recommend improvements for future events
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with general venue operations as needed
Attend meetings with management to align on goals
Support the private event coordinator
Qualifications
Required:
Passion for event planning and community engagement

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
