Marketing & Event Coordinator

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing & Events Coordinator to support the day-to-day marketing and activation efforts of our mixed-use dining and event hall. Kern’s Bakery is seeking a highly engaged and creative Marketing & Events Coordinator with a passion for building business-driving brand stories through content and event planning. Required Skills/Experience: • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, events, or a related field (internships and school projects count) • Comfortable working in an active, public-facing environment • Confident communicating with tenants, vendors, and event partners • Familiarity with social media content creation (photo/video) • Basic understanding of event coordination and on-site execution Physical Requirements: • Stand and walk for extended periods during events, site visits, and activations • Lift, carry, and move materials such as signage, boxes, tables, and décor (up to 25–40 lbs) • Set up, operate, and break down event spaces, including bending, reaching, kneeling, and occasional ladder use • Use handheld devices (smartphone, camera, tablet) to capture photo and video content • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions during events • Travel throughout the property and between event locations as needed • See, hear, and communicate clearly with tenants, vendors, and event attendees • Manage multiple physical tasks in a fast-paced, live event environment We’re building a group of people who take pride in their craft and in creating a great experience for every guest.
