About The Role
As the Marketing Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing local events and shows while leading a team of Event Demonstrators. You will help generate qualified leads, increase brand awareness, and support the growth of our sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, energetic, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Research and identify local events, home shows, expos, and community opportunities within the assigned territoryNegotiate contracts and maintain relationships with event vendorsBuild and manage an annual calendar of events and marketing opportunitiesRecruit, hire, train, and coach Event DemonstratorsSchedule Event Demonstrators and ensure proper event coverageCoordinate booth setup, displays, materials, and event breakdownRepresent Bath Planet & Home Pro MI professionally at all eventsEngage with homeowners and help generate qualified leadsSet appointments for free in-home consultationsCollect contest entries and customer informationFollow up on leads and assist with scheduling appointmentsTrack event performance and measure resultsPrepare reports and provide feedback to improve event success
Qualifications
Previous experience in event marketing, promotions, sales, customer service, or team leadership preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive, outgoing, and professional personalityStrong planning, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to coach, train, and motivate team membersComfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environmentAbility to stand for extended periods during eventsAbility to lift up to 30 poundsReliable transportation and willingness to travel locallyWeekend availability is required
